    Dr. Lisa Cairns is the Site Director for MEDD 419/429/439 (FLEX) Foundations of Scholarship and Flexible Enhanced Learning. Reporting to the Regional Associate Dean through the Assistant Dean, MD Undergraduate Education, IMP, Dr. Cairns will collaborate with Course Directors, Site Directors, and Site Leads at IMP as well as those in each distributed program. She will also work closely with the Program Managers and administrative team, and other physician colleagues and leaders.

    Dr. Cairns has worked for a number of international organizations for disease control and prevention, most recently as an independent consultant on Yellow Fever control with Gavi the Vaccine Alliance. She has also held a clinical assistant professorship in Medicine from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and an adjunct professorship in Epidemiology at the University of Washington School of Public Health.
