    UBC Premier Undergraduate Scholarship: Thelma Sharp Cook Scholarship

    Awarded to one UBC student entering the penultimate or final year of a baccalaureate program, the first year of Graduate Studies, or enrolled in the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry or Law. Nominees are expected to have good academic standing, have demonstrated achievement in athletics, and have shown leadership through participation in student, community and service activities. Preference is given to aboriginal candidates or to those planning a career involving work with children or youth. Find out more...

    CW An endowed scholarship gifted by the estate of Eva Hannah Parlee and administered by the University of Victoria Foundation. Offered annually on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine at The University of British Columbia to outstanding 1st year M.D. students in the Island Medical Program.

    Kaare Norgaard Scholarship

    DG The scholarship will be offered to one self-declared Aboriginal medical student enrolled in the Island Medical Program who originates from a community on Vancouver Island (including BC islands), and who demonstrates their experience/interest/capacity to care for and about the health of Aboriginal people.
