    What is Faculty Development?

Faculty Development is all about building the knowledge, skills, and abilities of medical educators – you, the faculty and residents who teach in UBC’s Faculty of Medicine.

As a medical educator with UBC, you have access to workshops – on leadership, clinical reasoning skills, communication, and much more – that are designed to help you lead and inspire the next generation of doctors.

Here's why you'll love Faculty Development with the UBC Island Medical Program:

    •   You'll earn Continuing Medical Education credits (faculty only).
    •   All workshops are offered to you free of charge.
    •   Workshops are led by experts in their field.
    •   You'll build the knowledge, skills, and abilities used by the most successful medical educators.
    •   Workshop registration takes less than a minute.
    •   You don't have to track your progress – we've got that covered. Just register, show up, and enjoy.
