    Site Leader, Campbell River and District General Hospital


    In her role as Site Leader, Dr. Morrison helps to to develop, support and expand teaching and learning activities for undergraduate medical learners at the Campbell River and District General Hospital and in other North Vancouver Island locations, working in collaboration with the IMP Year 3&4 Course Directors, physician leaders and administrative staff. She also works closely with Dr. Peter Gee, the Strathcona Postgraduate Family Practice Residency Program Director (Comox) and with IMP Discipline Specific Site Leaders to coordinate resources, identify preceptors for Family Medicine residents and develop opportunities for new specialty rotations at Campbell River and District General Hospital.

    Dr. Morrison completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of British Columbia in 2006 and postgraduate training in Family Medicine at the UBC St. Paul's site in 2009.  She works as a full service family physician at the Alder Medical Clinic in Campbell River.  Dr. Morrison also provides maternity care in the hospital and is co-founder of a maternity clinic which provides antepartum and postpartum patient care.
